Broken Chicco Umbrella Stroller

June 27th, 2007 · 1 Comment ·

This morning I checked my email and received an untitled email from Hubby. He emailed me that he broke our Chicco umbrella stoller’s handle while trying to close it.

Yesterday night, I’ve requested for him to help me place the stroller in the trunk of my car as this morning me and my boy will be heading out ‘kai-kai’. There is already another Graco stroller in the car but is a travel system big huge stroller. And since we are going in to the theater (free movie for kids), Hubby had suggested to use a smaller stroller instead.

He didn’t know there was a release pedal that needed to be unlock before closing it together and he tried to ‘kam ngang‘ push the stroller to close without realizing that things usually close easily without needed to push so hard. If he has realized by using ‘common sense’ that something must not be right as the stroller is so difficult to close, then his mind would have click that there might be a release pedal or button or that something is holding the stroller together that’s why is not letting you to close. But he used his INCREDIBLE HULK strength and push it to close … that’s why the handle now is broken.

Though, now I can look for a new stroller, but it also means spending more money. I already have so many strollers, 1 Grace travel system which we used very often, the Inglesinia umbrella stroller we got for our trip to KL last year which my boy didn’t really like sitting in it, and a bassinet type from Malaysia which handles which can turn backward or forward.

Not sure if we going to get another stroller, well we’ll see. This Chicco one we left it open in the garage and use it for stroll around the neighborhood.
