This is another addition to our home for our boy. He is 17.5 months now and he loves to draw. We got him a Doodle Pro earlier (will blog later) but that one has a small drawing area and since we haven’t got him a table and chair, he basically sit on the floor, bending down to draw on his Doodle Pro. Most of the time, he likes to erase/delete rather than drawing.
While shopping for his table and chair at Ikea last weekend, we bought this easel instead. This easel is not too expensive, I’ve used my money earned from blogging to buy this (that reminds me I need to write a check out to my Hubby) for $19.99. I also bought a roll of paper for $6.99 that he can draw on.
This easel has two diffrent sides. One side is a chalkboard and another side a white board (seen in the above picture). I didn’t want my son to be using chalk as it could be quite dusty, or the markers as it may leave a permanent lines on the wooden border. That’s the reason I got him a roll or paper which he can use his crayons, color pencils or pencils to draw. Want to see him in action? Click here.
