I remember seeing both my friends blogging about red bean paratha, here and here. I went to Chinatown to find them as I really love red bean pancakes. I found them and I also found this. This is Raya Pandan Paratha.

It is imported from Malaysia, my home country.

One package has 2 pieces and regular price at $2.50. I bought both, the red bean and the pandan. I tried the pandan pancake first because I really love pandan flavor. Easy to make - take out from the freezer, add a little oil to the heated pan, put in the frozen pancake. Turn a few times until it reaches the golden crisp you require. I like mine not too burn.

The taste is more like very thick kaya (coconut plus egg jam). I haven’t try the red bean one. I may like the red bean better.  Will blog about it once I tried it.
