This movie came out on July 4th weekend. Hubby watched it himself during lunch hour at work. He enjoyed the movie very much and had promised a DVD for me when it came out. Well, the DVD came out a few weeks ago. Usually during the first week of release, there are special offers at the stores.

We bought our Transformers DVD at Circuit City for $13.99 plus sales tax. Target was selling it at $15.99 plus sales tax but offers a $3 discount on one of the Transformer’s toys. We don’t need an extra toy at home so we got the DVD at Circuit City.

This is a widescreen edition. It came with a card for ‘Download Free Exclusive Transformers Content’ at www.transformersmovie.com/cctheirwar using a special code. The movie itself is 143 minutes long. So far I only get to watch the beginning. And because my son loves watching the special helicopter Lennox was on in the beginning of the movie, he always requests for me to review back to that particular part. I guess it will be a long while before I am able to watch the whole movie undisturbed.
