Kid’s Winter Jacket

Winter Jacket

Last weekend Macy was having a Pre-Thanksgiving sale.  We stopped at the children’s department to check out their door buster for a kid’s Protection System Bubble Winter Jacket.  I checked online the available size is from 2 and up.  I needed to get a thick jacket for my son this winter so I hoped to have it at the store so I don’t have to pay the $5.95 shipping for this jacket if I purchased online.

Luckily I found a final size 2 blue color jacket left on the rack.  The price is $14.99 plus 15% discount with Star Rewards Card.  Came up to around $14 after sales tax.  Can you imagine paying $65 for this jacket at its regular price?  I know I won’t.  This jacket is a little too big for my son, may able to last him for 2 winters.

This jacket is wind and water resistant.  Machine washable.  With lots of pockets.  One thing I dislike is it has a lot of velcro closures around the jacket.  The velcro is hard and rough, easily scratches and hurt our dry skin.  Can’t expect to be 100% perfect with the price I paid for this.

That’s very cheap! I got C’s at 50% off at Oshkosh at the winter clearance sale early this year. Ya, I can’t imagine paying full price for something that will only last 1-2 yrs! :)

Ya, only last very short time. I also usually try to get his cloth during sales by estimating his size.
