This is Elmo’s first big screen appearance.  The movie is titled, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland.  I saw this movie for only $5.50 at Target and bought it.  Initially, my son wasn’t too interested in the movie.  But since the last two weeks, he’s been asking to see this over and over again.I think it is pretty interesting, especially if your child loves Elmo. 

The movie is 73 minutes long and I am able to have some of my household chores done while he is watching.  But usually, he will be very attentive during the first 30 minutes, then he will wonder around the dining area while the movie is still on. 

A summary of the movie:

Elmo accidentally lost his best friend, his blue blanket into the land of the Grouches. Elmo and his friends from Sesame Street endured a fun-filled adventure to find rescue his blanket. Along the way, Elmo met a giant chicken and the Queen of Trash.
