We got the bunk bed and we needed the twin size mattress. We were looking around for mattress for a long time and found the best deal from Sam’s Club. We didn’t want to pay too much for a twin size mattress and the Serta Stafford #1 Firm Twin Size Mattress fits our budget. It is selling for $98.42 plus sales tax at Sam’s Club in Gardena. That time it had a different pricing at different Sam’s Clubs. For example, the same item at Torrance Sam’s Club was around $101.
We borrow SIL’s Toyota 4-Runner and was able to fit two of these mattresses in her truck. Saving us on delivery fee.
This is a good mattress for younger children. Not too good for us adult. I prefer firmer mattress and this doesn’t hold me up too good. It is less than 6″ in height which is perfect for bunk beds. This mattress comes with 1 year limited warranty.

Thanks for review. I saw this today and was wondering what other’s are thinking about its firmness. I’ll spend my good money on a better one.
No problem. Thanks for visiting.

Thanks for your assessment of the Serta Stafford #1 Firm Twin Mattress. We have a double bed, but designed it for two twins as its good when we move / travel, but we do want a good bang for the buck. I might as well spend a few extra $$$ on a firmer mattress more suited for adults. Thanks!

I must agree, this is a great mattress for a great price at Sams Club! I couldn’t beat this deal anywhere!

Do regular sheets fit the mattress with it being only 6″ tall?
Thanks,
A
They fit but a little loose. I try to push everything underneath the mattress to make it fits better.

Thank you for this info. Your website is the only place I can find any info on this mattress–as neither the Sam’s website nor the store have any info on the # of coils, etc. Called Serta, but was unable to get the info as well, so yours is a great resource while we search for a twin mattress for our 2 year old. Best wishes!

We bought 2 of these mattresses 1 1/2 yrs ago, they did not hold up.My 13 yr old daughter is having terrible backpain and my older daughters bed actually broke down after 5-6 months. I would only suggest this matterss for very young children, or a guest bed.
