During the Ikea Thanksgiving sales, we bought many items from it. One of our many products is the twin size MYSA STJÄRNA quilt/comforter for $24.99 plus sales tax. The regular price on this comforter is $49.99 (saw the price at the website on 1/1/08). So we got it at 50% off which was a good price. This is classified as the extra warm comforter according to Ikea’s standard. It is filled with synthetic quilt which has silicone treated fibers so it will retain its shape wash after wash.

The size of this twin quilt/comforter is 64″ x 86″ (162cm x 219cm). The outer fabric is made with 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The filling weight is 1700g.

To me, it is not as warm as I hope it to be. But it is comfortable through out the winter nights in Southern California if I add an additional fleece layer on the top. May not be suitable for very cold weather.
