My son and I have very sensitive skin, especially towards sunscreen. I’ve tried many sunscreens, even those stated for sensitive skin but yet, they have at least 1 ingredient that caused rashes to erupt on my hands and legs where I applied the sunscreen. I even tried the Arbonne Baby Care Sunscreen SPF30+ for sensitive skin but it wasn’t suitable for our skin.
One of my friend has previously bought me a Vanicream Sunscreen and it had worked great. I had no problem with rashes when applied it. Unfortunately, it is not easy to buy in the store and the tube I had was expired. I knew I had to get something before our trip to Vegas to spend time at The Beach in Mandalay Bay. While shopping at Target, I saw this Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunblock SPF30. I read the label.
It is hypo-allergenic, won’t clog pores (sound good), fragrance-free and PABA-free. I think the cause of the rash/pimples on my skin could be clogging pores. The active ingredient in this bottle is Titanium Dioxide 9.1%. There is no benzophenones in this as the active ingredient like many other sunscreens. So I bought it for $7.91 plus sales tax hoping it will work … and it did! We have used it twice now, once at The Beach Mandalay Bay and another time when we went to Torrance Beach. My son’s legs and hands no longer has rash/pimple. Yup, I highly recommend this sunblock for anyone that may have sensitive skin like ours.
