We went to Ikea last weekend and surprisingly I saw they had increase the price for the Ikea Mala Easel.  The time we bought it was in Aug 2007 for only $19.99 plus sales tax.  But now the price has increased to $24.99.

At $19.99, I won’t think about if I should get it, but at $24.99, I will. Hey, this is like a $5 increase, a 25% increase, is huge to me. But luckily we already got ours. I guess there is a demand in this product and with the increase in gasoline, the production and transporting cost might have increase and pass on to the consumer.
