Restore that piano

July 17th, 2008 · No Comments ·

During my trip back to visit my relative, I saw my cousin’s piano sitting in the corner collecting dust. My aunt told me no one is playing on it now. My cousin had stopped taking lessons when they moved into this new home. It might be a vintage Steinways when my uncle bought it used but it was perfect as it was restored to the original and cost so much less than a new piano.

This time around, I will be suggesting for them to have the piano restored and refinished by Lindeblad Piano Restoration. This company has been in this business since 1920, and now is co-owned by the 3rd and 4th generation of the Lindeblad. After the restoration, my uncle can decide either to keep the piano or to sell it to the secondary market.
