The Alzheimer’s Association is again this year organizing the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk 2008. This is our nation’s largest event to raise awareness for the Alzheimer care, support and research. There will be over 600 communities participating in this event on walking 2-3 miles on a fall weekend morning.
The event needs supporters like you and your friends. Take part in this Memory Walk. Volunteers in all forms are welcomed. Even if you are unable to do the walk itself, you can be still help for this good cause. You can participate in being a team captain, event planner or a member of the local event committee.
So find your friends, your families and your neighbors. Gather them together and start a team. Sign up as a team captain. You can find more information on how to start a team on their website. Let’s work together and walk with a purpose.
