When my son had hives two weeks ago, I went and buy the half gallon Horizon Organic Lowfat 1% milk for him. He consumes about 27-28 ounces of milk each day. That half gallon carton lasted only for two and half days. I bought it from 99 Ranch Market for $3.29. Sometimes if they are on sale at the same market, they are only $2.99 per half gallon.

Why did I buy him Organic milk when he has hives? Because I remember when I had hives, the Chinese doctor highly recommend for me not to take any dairy products as she said there are too much hormone in them. That is why I get the Organic milk as they are produced without any use of growth hormones, antibiotics or pesticides.

May be I should switch our family milk supply to organic instead of the Swiss Milk we’ve been getting from Sam’s Club? But then the cost of the organic milk is twice as much as the reguar non-organic milk. That may be the main factor why we are back drinking the regular milk from Sam’s Club.
