Horizon Organic Reduced Fat Chocolate Milk 8oz

We normally buy this Horizon Organic Reduced Fat Chocolate Milk 8oz for emergency purposes. For example, if I am out of the regular milk and I can give him a box of this for afternoon feeding time. Or if we go out and he needs his afternoon milk, I will bring a box with me in a cooler. I don’t really give him on a daily basis or weekly basis. We also call this the ’special milk’. He loves it a lot. It comes in handy if we are going for a road trip to somewhere a little far away like Las Vegas or San Francisco.

You can find this milk at most groceries stores. At Whole Food, they sell a box of three for $3.99. At certain Target you can find three in a pack for $2.97. So the cheapest is about $1 a box until we found the bulk size of 18 8oz boxes at Sam’s Club for only $13.66.

I like Horizon Organic Milk because they don’t use any kind of antibiotics, added growth hormones or dangerous pesticides. It is very handy as no refrigeration is needed until when you want to serve it. This Grade A reduced fat milk contains 1/3 less fat than whole milk. It has Vitamin A and D added. Certified as USDA Organic.

I am curious, does it come in plain white milk? I know it comes in strawberry also, right?

Yes, they come in the reduced fat white plain milk. But it is not sold at Sam’s club. They only have the one in chocolate flavor.
