One of my mommy friends from the parenting class told me that they went camping during this past summer with their 2 years old son. They stayed for two nights and the son enjoyed very much. They actually camped by the beach somewhere near Malibu. I don’t remember the camp site’s name. The funny story here was her husband had so much fun shopping for the new camping gears.

They actually had moved from San Diego to Los Angeles before the son was born. They are very much a couple who really enjoys the outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and etc. When they moved, they gave away all their camping gears as those were pretty old already. So when they were planning for this past summer two nights camping trip, her husband was so excited because he could go shopping for these gears. He drove all around Los Angeles to buy the items. He should have used the online site at Sierra Adventure Gear to save on gasoline as during this past summer, our gasoline price soared up to above $4.50 a gallon.

I wonder if my husband will ever take us to a trip like that. He is not too much an outdoor camping person. But it may be a good experience to bring our son to at least a few camping trips so he can enjoy the nature and learning from it.  At least I know I will enjoy shopping for the camping gears.
