One of my friend is looking for a fax to email machine for small office use. I believe many of you have seen and receive fax in your email with attached documents in pdf format. We are looking for a machine that can do just that. One that can scan and email the documents as well as to fax documents as well. I’ve seen and used only huge machines that do this job. I haven’t come across one that is for home or small office use.
I researched online and found a few smaller machine that can or may be provide such task for less than $1000. The brand is Panasonic Panafax. There are several models that I am looking into, but not sure which one can actually do it right. They are the UF-4000, UF-6000, UF-7000 and UF-8000. I might want to check them out personally at the store to see and have a feel of them before recommending to my friend.
Do you have any other recommendations (brands/models) for this type of machine? If you do, please contribute your comment. Thank you.
At the time like this when the economy is not doing too well, stock market dropped like crazy, and an increase in the foreclosures market, we have to be cautious on our spending. There are things that we need to spend and others which we don’t. You will never know what will happen next. Your must make sure you have enough saving to cover your expenses and bills for at least six months. This mean you have to save on anything you could.
The good news is, I think many of you might be glad to find out that you don’t have to wait to replace your broken eyeglasses anymore. You no longer have to pair $100 or $200 or more for eyeglasses anymore at your optometrist office. So throw the broken pair of eyeglasses away and replace them with one or two new ones from ZenniOptical.

They may have some fun activities for them as well. For the older kids, remember safety comes first. Have a splendid fun time today!

I own many blogs and wish I can type as fast as 150 words per minute. Unfortunately, the fastest I’ve ever typed was at the speed of 80 words per minute without error. Sometimes it takes me more than half an hour to type up a blog post. Juggling between household chores, a little boy at home, I hardly can find enough time to sit down to type more than I wanted to. But I think I can change that. With Dragon NaturallySpeaking, I can type at 150 Words Per Minute for $99!
Please read the below press release and view the video attachment in this post to see how this software can help you to just that. The lady in the video had her 95-year-young father used Dragon NaturallySpeaking to preserve his own lifetime stories to share with the future generations.
Press Release:
The above video is not the typical Dragon NaturallySpeaking video. It was created by a blogger named Heather from British Columbia. She writes a blog called Boating in Beautiful British Columbia.
In the video that she has created, she talks about Dragon NaturallySpeaking. She talks about using Dragon NaturallySpeaking. In fact in the video, she is using Dragon NaturallySpeaking while she’s talking about it but you don’t quite realize that until the video is about halfway done.
The thing that’s REALLY interesting about this video, is not the fact that Heather is using the software and it’s not the fact the software works for her so much as HOW she chooses to use it. She took Dragon NaturallySpeaking and sat down with her father who is 95 years old. She spent a few minutes with him getting the software tuned to his voice so that the computer recognizes his sentences and words. Then she’s lets her father tell some of his great stories to the computer which transcribes everything that he says.
You can tell just by watching the video and listening to her father that he really does have some interesting stories to tell. I have a feeling that I could probably listen to the stories myself quite a bit, enjoying them immensely. And that too is not really the cool thing about this video. Although I’d love to hear her father tells more stories, the COOL THING is that she’s using Dragon NaturallySpeaking to capture a piece of her family’s oral tradition.
I can think of hundreds of different stories that my family has shared with me over the years that have not been documented. Our family is slowly losing some of those great stories and unfortunately, as we are losing some of our family members. We survivors don’t know all of the stories ourselves that our parents or grandparents or our great grandparents knew. But this video shows that you can use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to help capture some of those great stories that your parents and grandparents and great grandparents have probably told you dozens of times.
It’s something that we don’t always think about, but in a lot of ways those stories are some of the most cherished memories that we will walk away with from our family. And the sad thing is that our family cannot Be with us forever, but their memories can live on and this is where Dragon NaturallySpeaking really shows us its value. It’s true for $99 you can use Dragon NaturallySpeaking and you can type 150 words a minute. That’s a pretty good value for the software. It’s not too expensive and the benefit is tangible.
Now, you can get a useful tool at any computer store or Home Depot or Lowes, and if you don’t know how to use it well, then it really doesn’t matter what you pay for it. It is a waste of money.Heather shows us a great way to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to capture some of the most valuable information and stories from her father that she might ever be able to record not only for herself but for her daughter and her grandchildren someday and great-grandchildren and many other branches of the family even.
So that’s just another great reason why they Dragon NaturallySpeaking is a pretty cool piece of software. $99 could help you capture your family history easily and even make it indexable too, so that you can search it from your computer. That’s just amazing.
My name Brett Bumeter, and I write about Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I’ve been writing reviews about it for almost 2 years now. You could say that I’m sold on the software, and I hope that this article and this video helps show you the value of using it as well.
Sincerely,
Brett Bumeter

PS this article is about 630 words long and it took me five minutes to write and another minute or two to edit with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10. Even with editing time that’s close to 100 words per minute!
This is my first Coach Handbag. I’ve been wanting to buy one but I knew then I would have no chance to use it as I was still using a dual function diaper bag which also acts like a handbag. Now finally my son is big enough that I don’t have to drag a big huge diaper bag everywhere we go. As long as I have a decent size with a roomy interior handbag, it should work fine too.
Most of the Coach Handbags I’ve actually came across is either too small or too huge. Finally, this time around, at the Gilroy Outlet Mall, I was able to find one that is in between. This is the Soft Pebble Collection Zip Tote. It is medium size with a zipper top closure. It has a mahogany genuine leather body with light brown trimming. The bag’s measurement is approximately 13″W x 8″H x 3″D.
There are a zipper pocket and two open pockets inside the bag. The interior fabric lining is purple in color. I really like the roomy interior of this bag. The original price on it was $328.00, but it was priced at $309.00 for factory outlet. This handbag was on clearance rack for $219.99 with an additional 50% off.
The Soft Pebble Collection
The Soft Pebble Collection continues the Coach tradition of using the finest leathers in a variety of innovative finishes. This collection is crafted in natural, milled cowhide leather that has been left virtually untreated. The end result is a product with a soft, tectured fell and a classic Coach look.
The care instructions Soft Pebble leather requires minimal care. To remove surface dirt, simply wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use Coach Leather Cleaner or Moisturizer on your soft pebble product.
I was lucky to be selected to review this product as my little 2.5 years old are so into blocks nowadays. The moment the package arrived we opened it up and since then my son has been playing with the blocks many times a day.
There are a few features on these Holgate Baby Blocks which I like to point out. They are made of real Maple Wood. All the edges are smoothly rounded (best feature). Very colorful painted on all 6 sides with non toxic finish. The product is made in USA. Although the product states is for age one and above, but I think I would let a baby younger than 1 to play with them as long as the baby can sit properly without support and able to pick these blocks up.
These blocks can provide many different activities and games to your child. They can learn numbers from 1 to 5, alphabets (A, B, C, D, E, G, H, L, O, M, T, U), graphics or pictures (apple, ball, cat, duck, elephant, giraffe, heart, lion, ice-cream, monkey, owl, truck, umbrella) and colors (green, blue, red, yellow, purple, black). The child can play match the alphabets with pictures, match colors, line the numbers up and more.
My toddler knows all his alphabets and he likes to associate the alphabets on the Holgate Baby Blocks with pictures he sees on the block. For example A - apple, B - ball and E - elephant. I don’t know why but he likes the letter M the most. And when we turn the M upside down, it becomes a … ? Of course a W! And he thought it was funny how the M becomes W and kept turning it back and forth.
Beside being educational toy, a child can stack up these 6 blocks and be as creative as one could. My son likes this activity - stacking the blocks. He is very imaginative as well. He would stack a different shape every time and tell me it is “Disneyland” or “Marukai” or “Mall” or “Grandma’s house” and so on.
I highly recommend this Holgate Baby Blocks toy. This item is available for purchase at NMC Toys for only $16.99. I don’t think it is an expensive investment that will provide unlimited fun and creativity to a child. Besides, this toy will last you many years down the road. They may be able to survive several generations if they are well kept.
We were looking around to get a BPA Free reusable bottles for our son. I did some research online and found good reviews on Thermos® Foogo® product line and thought I’d check it out at Target to get a feel of it. When we were at Target we saw they have the sippy cup and the straw bottle. At that time, we were still looking around and didn’t buy it at the spot. We find the straw bottle to have large opening for easy cleaning. We also went to Whole Food Market to see if they have any reusable bottles. They have only two brands, one is SIGG and another one is ECO. Both have narrow necks which may be be a problem if you need to clean it thoroughly. So I’ve decided to get the Thermos® Foogo® brand.
When my husband went to the same Target the next day, they were out of the Thermos® Foogo® Straw Bottles. We saw two of those the day before. It got sold out in one day. And since they still have the Thermos® Foogo® Sippy Cup, he bought it. We want it to keep the water warm for our son during the cold weather. Target was selling it for $14.39 plus sales tax.
Before buying this, we were using Avent sippy cups during the winter time. But that won’t keep the water warm at all. With this new sippy cup, I want to see how long it can keep the water warm. I would want to have some warm water in handy for midnite just in case if my son wants water. Yes, he drinks water even at night. A thirsty boy he is. It does say on the box that this 7oz Thermos® Foogo® Sippy Cup can keep drinks cold and fresh for 6 hours and even inhibits dangerous bacteria growth.
During the day time, I am giving my son just the cup itself to let him drink from a cup. This sippy cup has an extra compartment to wash compared to Avent. But most importantly for me is this is made from BPA Free materials and its double wall vacuum insulation will maximize the temperature retention. It is a little heavier than the Avent Sippy Cup but it says on the box is for 6 months up. It only has the 7oz size.
TherMax® double wall vacuum insulation for maximum cold temperature retention
Spill-proof valve prevents messes and is easy-to-clean
Soft spout is easy and comfortable to sip
Kid-proof design - unbreakable stainless steel interior and exterior withstands daily wear and tear
Dishwasher safe
Exterior stays condensation free
Non-slip, scratch resistant base
Keeps beverages cold for up to 6 hours - for cold contents only
Do you want to earn $100-$300 a day? This money sounds good if you need to have some extra cash for this coming holiday season. Christmas is only a little over 2 months away. There should be enough time for you to get into extra work and earn some money for yourself or your family. You must be thinking how to earn $100-$300 a day. All you need to do is standing around, walking dogs, pushing a swing at the park, jogging up a street, or enjoying a meal at a restaurant. Don’t all of them sound very easy? These are jobs for an extra in a movie or tv show. Extras usually don’t have any lines in the show or movie but are needed to make the scenes look realistic and natural.
When I had just graduated from college and waiting for a full time employment, I signed up for extra job with a big company in Burbank. I didn’t get any call at all. It was very disappointing for me. But now I know about Talent6, I should have signed up with them. At this site, you can find and search for casting calls. Production companies will post their needs for actors/singers/musicians/models/extras and you can search the site for any of those jobs. Talent6 has very good testimonials and even provide its members with personal blogs to post their journal entries.
Do you think you are ready to join Talent6 for some extra work? All you need to do is call this number - 800-493-9047 and speak to a portfolio manager.
I will keep this site url in handy, just in case if I need to earn some extra cash later when my son goes to pre-school. Hey, pre-school is expensive and I can’t be sitting home while he is at school. I need to earn to pay his tuition fee with my extra free time.
During the recent sales at Toys ‘R’ Us where they had a lot of items you buy 2 get 3rd free. The promotion includes a lot of toys such as Fisher Price, Legos, books, and more. We wanted to get the Lego sets but we couldn’t find 3 sets to buy. There were only two sets we were interested. So we didn’t get the Lego. But instead we bought the Elmo’s DVDs.
I find that my son learns a lot from the TV. I am trying to buy more educational DVDs so he will learn while watching them. As many of you might have known, I am having a hard time to fully potty train him. At this time, he is doing well but still wets his underwear once a while. The worse is that he doesn’t want to go potty and everytime we ask him if he needs to go, his reply is, “NO!”. I want him to learn to go potty himself. For now, he still needs my help to pull his pants and put it back on for him. If he doesn’t learn to do it himself, I will not be able to send him to Pre-school as they only enroll potty-trained kids.
And since at Toys ‘R’ Us was having sales, I got him Elmo’s Potty Training DVDs. Elmo is one of his favorite characters. Along with this DVD, I also got theElmo Visits to the Doctor and Guess That Shapes and Colors. Each was priced at $11.99 plus sales tax. It is only slightly cheaper than Target with their promotion of ‘Buy two free one’. Without the promotion, I would get it at Target for $9.99 plus sales tax each.
The latter two are still in shrink wrapped. We opened Elmo’s Potty Training for him to watch. He watches it sometimes. Will it help? I will see how his progress in this area after a month or so. I read a lot of good reviews on this DVD on Amazon. So I really hope it will help.

When I was at Trader Joe’s, I couldn’t help myself from buying one of these to try. My main reason is also to get this for my son’s snack time. This Trader Joe’s Chewy Fruit Strawberry Granola Bars are naturally flavored and made with organic oat, honey and soy. Some of its other main ingredients are crunchy cashews, sweet strawberries and sweet tart strawberry flavored cranberries. No preservatives or artificials ingredients were added. Each box contains 6 bars, each about 35g. It has about 7% of dietary fiber in each bar.
I like the taste of it and so does my son. Will definitely recommend them as snack for toddlers as well as for adults.

We welcomed the arrival of this hardboard book titled My Mommy’s Toteto our toddler books collection. This is not any normal hardboard book but one with a lot of fun and surprises. My little boy is 2.5 years and he loves to go through ‘my purse’ and takes out all the credit cards, my ID and the changes in the zipper compartment. He is such a cute little busybody. I don’t want him to be playing with ‘my purse’ all the time and this My Mommy’s Tote is just a great replacement.
This hardboard book is definitely more fun that the real Mommy’s purse. It has so many accessories, activities, stories, flips and more. My son loves the removable ‘fake’ laptop and the credit card that came with the book. Those are the first things he took out from the purse. With the laptop, he pretends to be ‘just like Mommy’ working on the laptop and typing with his little fingers on the keyboard. With the credit card, he pretends ‘just like Mommy’ and swipes it between the kitchen cabinet doors. It was too funny to describe.
As a Mommy, I like this book because it is not just fun and very colorful but it also helps to teach the kid alphabets, numbers, time telling and learn different items in mommy’s purse. There is also a little white board with marker for the kid to draw and write. Although sometimes I wish this book has more pull out items to keep my 2.5 years old occupy for a longer time. It might be a little heavy for a kid under 3 to carry it around since it is made of heavy duty cardboard material. But it will definitely be a good companion for a long road trip.
If you are interested to get your hand on this cute little fun book for your child at home or as a gift, just go to Amazon. Retailed at $16.95 but if you get it today, it will be only $11.53 with free shipping if your order is over $25.
Thank you Parent Reviewers and Workman Publishing Co. for giving me the opportunity to review this product.

My brother is one person that always breaks his eyeglasses. When he was younger, my mother used to get him a few pairs for back up just in case if he broke one, he could still use another pair. Now, even when he is older, he still needs a few pairs around the house for ‘just in case’.
Eyeglasses don’t come cheap now, except if you get them from ZenniOptical dot com. At this place, you can get a basic pair of high index lens prescription single vision eyeglasses starting from only $8. Why so cheap? That is because they only sell their own manufactured frames directly to the customers cutting out the middlemen and able to give their customers such a low price.
There is no trick to get this price, just go on to the website and see for yourself. It was featured on The Clark Howard Show recommending people whom need eyeglasses to visit this website. You may have also heard them over Fox News TV or even over the radio. So next time when you need a new pair of eyeglasses, check them out at ZenniOptical first. They have just added some new frames to their website.
